As you know, children are very important for vertebrates. There are species from many groups that move them very carefully. There are frogs that carry the young on top, crocodiles that carry the young in their mouths, etc… But surely we are, the mammals, the ones having the most varied transport strategies: in the arms, on the back, on front, with the teeth, inside a bag (marsupials), clinging to them as they fly (bats)…
Some waterfowl can carry their chicks on their backs when swimming. Others birds can carry them under the wings when they walk…
But … which birds can transport their chicks when they fly? How do they do it?
